Ophthalmology

Diode Laser for Ophthalmology in Regular and Advanced Retinal Photocoagulation Techniques

Monocrom based on diode-pumped solid-state lasers. All our solutions offer wide power range, fluence and pulse modulation together with a versatile, compact and robust design.

Our ophthalmic lasers are used for:

  • Glaucoma Treatment
  • Diabetic Macular Edema (DME)
  • Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)
  • RPE stimulation

We offer laser technology for Selective Retinal Therapy (SRT) for ultra precise laser treatments. based on a 527 nm laser with a pulse rate of 1.7 µs and repetition rate  up to 200 Hz. It selectively damages the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) with minimum affect on the neural retina, the photoreceptors and the choroid. The laser radiation stimulates RPE cell migration and proliferation in order to improve the metabolism at the diseased retinal sites.

Multipath resonators are another cost-effective laser technology used in Opthalmology to perform Photodynamic Therapy. They are simple to implement and are ideal for the treatment of  Diabetic Macular Edema (DME) and Age‐related Macular Degeneration (AMD).

Monocrom is an OEM manufacturer. but also offering standard products in short lead time. We adapt to customers needs with a high degree of flexibility and versatility for their developments.
